___SAMSAS TRAUM "Unbeugsam - Unberechenbar - Unsterblich"
In September 2011 the world experienced the final Samsas Traum tour: mastermind Alexander Kaschte unexpectedly announced that he didn't want to play live any more and that the tour in late summer 2011 would mark his final sendoff from the stage. With their album 'Anleitung zum Totsein' in the bag, Samsas Traum embarked on a two and a half week journey through Germany and Austria for that final tour, culminating in a breathtaking concert in the Matrix in Bochum: that legendary club in which Samsas Traum had already enjoyed huge success at the beginning of their career, and at which the Ruhr Valley audience proved themselves, as always, to be particularly passionate.
That last concert
is available as a brilliant double album, which apart from countless
memorable musical moments, also offers the highest measure of quality as
regards equipment, length and production - something which is only to
be expected of Samsas Traum. 'Unbeugsam - Unberechenbar - Unsterblich' contains two bulging CDs which contain not only the big Samsas Traum
hits such as 'Für Immer', 'Stromausfall im Herzspital', 'Die
Zärtlichkeit der Verdammten', 'Heiliges Herz' and 'Mr Misanthropia': the
strongest songs from 'Anleitung zum Totsein' are also represented on
the album. All are interweaved with those typical, extremely
entertaining and almost cabaret-like announcements from Alexander Kaschte which are so loved by the fans, and which suggest a congenial measure of humour behind the facade of biting sarcasm.
The 19 songs blow out of the speakers like a storm, but no wonder, as
they were mixed with great diligence and dedication in the renowned
Proton Recording Studio in Geislingen an der Steige, Germany. Despite
crystal clear production, the album loses not a single second of the
inimitable live atmosphere which Samsas Traum have been able to
generate since the year dot. Whoever hears 'Unbeugsam - Unberechenbar -
Unsterblich' is once more standing in the audience, experiencing the
excitement and feeling the rhythm - and how the time flies. The
elegantly designed 8-panel digipak comes in a high-quality matt finish
and in addition to the CDs contains a comprehensive booklet with lots of
information, photos and sleevenotes and additionally, a double-sided
poster with pictures of Alexander Kaschte which show him just as
he would like to be remembered: awe-inspiring, passionate, immersed in
his songs - and totally sweaty, tousled and completely rocked out. Amen!

No other band in the German gothic/industrial scene is so shrouded in legend and rumour as Weena Morloch. While recording their bloodcurdling debut album 'Kunst-X=?', the band based around Samsas Traum mastermind Alexander Kaschte caused a fire in the studio. The iconic and likewise long since sold out follow-up 'Kadaverkomplex', which commands astronomical sums on eBay, appeared a few days before the school massacre in Erfurt, Germany and yet due to the megahit 'Kugel im Gesicht (9mm)' (English translation: 'Bullet in the face (9mm)') appeared briefly in the charts and was (mis)used by ResistantX, who carried out a shooting spree in Emsdetten, in the soundtrack to his violent videos. The ear-splitting album 'Epanalepsis', which was much loved in Merzbow circles, appeared as part of the limited edition Samsas Traum DVD box set 'Einer gegen alle' and thus vanished into the eternal pit of noise. And you can could only hear the band's EPs by visiting one of Weena Morloch's rare improvisation concerts or by seeking out the recordings on the internet with the aid of a microscope.

To put it in a nutshell: after their extremely successful and aptly titled latest album, 'Amok', demand among fans for Weena Morloch's
old material has risen to the level of the immeasurable. Where can I
buy 'Kunst-X=?' without having to pay EUR 200? How can I get
'Kadaverkomplex' in my hands without having to travel to Russia? Where
can I obtain the EPs without having to suffer the lousy YouTube-quality?
The answer to these questions is breathtakingly simple: from us. With 'Terror Über Alles - Das Weena Morloch-Manifest', Weena Morloch
release a COMPLETE collection of their early works in a
bursting-at-the-seams and insanely-designed 4CD digipak, and at a price
which will knock the wind out of the sails of all the profiteering,
fan-exploiting dealers. Whether 'Kunst-X=?', 'Kadaverkomplex',
'Epanalepsis' or the sought-after EPs - everything is readily available
on 'Terror Über Alles'. The Weena Morloch manifesto is rounded off by a complete live album from the band which was recorded during the course of the recent tour with Samsas Traum,
and which writhes out of the speakers in a forceful, crystal clear and
extremely unsettling fashion. Hand on heart: what more could you want? Load your shooters and put on your stocking masks: it's time for Weena Morloch!
